Chase Equipment began near Brooklands, founded by PC and CK Chase, who were known for racing Austin 7 specials. Originally working as motor engineers, the company soon expanded into producing stillages for the automotive industry.
By around 1980, Chase manufactured its first Mobile Yard Ramps, marking the start of steady growth.
